The Role
We are looking for an experienced Body Corporate Manager to join our growing team. This is a senior opportunity suited to someone with a strong background in body corporate management, who enjoys building client relationships, managing complex portfolios, and providing expert guidance to committees and property owners.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of developments while also taking ownership of remediation and major capital works projects. You'll be joining a business that prides itself on professionalism, innovation, and delivering practical, solutions-focused advice to its clients.
What You'll Be Doing
• Managing a portfolio of Body Corporates and ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements and service standards.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Scheduling, facilitating, chairing, and minute-taking at Body Corporate meetings.
• Preparing and presenting annual budgets, reviewing financial statements, and monitoring cashflow requirements.
• Providing advice on governance, compliance, and obligations under the Unit Titles Act.
• Managing insurance renewals, claims, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinating contractors, consultants, and suppliers to deliver maintenance, repairs, and major works projects.
• Overseeing debt management processes and communicating financial implications to committees.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory notices, reports, and other key documentation.
What You'll Bring
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Body Corporate Management.
• Strong understanding of the Unit Titles Act 2010 and governance frameworks.
• Proven experience managing complex Body Corporate portfolios.
• Experience facilitating remediation or major capital works projects.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and meeting facilitation skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• High level of computer literacy and attention to detail.
• Full New Zealand working rights.
