About the Role
We are searching for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our property management team in a part-time support capacity. This entry-level role is designed to assist one of our Senior Property Managers, in the efficient management of their growing portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced industry of property management, with the potential for future growth into a full-time Property Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with entry and exit inspections to ensure property condition reports are completed accurately.
- Conduct or assist with routine inspections and prepare relevant documentation.
- Conduct property viewings for prospective tenants, providing professional and informative on-site experiences.
- Support the processing of tenant applications for advertised properties.
- Assist with organising maintenance and coordinating tradespeople as required.
- Manage tenant and owner communications under the direction of the Senior Property Manager, ensuring professional and timely responses.
- Help prepare and update tenancy agreements and associated documents.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the daily operations of the portfolio.
- Provide support on ad-hoc tasks as needed to enable the Senior Property Manager to focus on higher-level portfolio responsibilities.
About You
- You are confident using computers and able to quickly learn new systems and software.
- You hold a valid restricted or full driver’s licence.
- You are respectful, reliable, and able to take direction well — you’ll be working closely under the guidance of one of our Senior Property Managers and supporting them in managing their portfolio.
- You demonstrate professionalism and maturity, understanding the importance of representing the Senior Property Manager, and our company positively in all communications and tasks.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
- You are well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- You are comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team environment.
